My Stage is the World

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practise to deceive

About

“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts”

William Shakespeare. Considered a genius by many and a bore – or even a fraud – to others. Yet whatever your opinion of the bard, you can’t deny that he knows how to turn a phrase.

This quote from As You Like It pretty much sums up how I live my life – with drama.

The majority of the time this takes place on a literal stage, either when I’m reviewing the best (and worst) of London’s West End, or treading the boards myself.

The rest of the time I immerse myself in a new found love of travelling. I don’t go looking for trouble, yet my real-life adventures often seem to turn out as dramatic as the fictional, scripted exploits I enjoy on a day-to-day basis.
