A room full of people who love theatre and love to write about it. It must be the #LDNTheatreBloggers hooking up for stagey talk and lots of wine.
I didn’t attend the last blogger meet where – ironically, considering my new job – they made Espresso Martini cocktails. However, I was at the inaugural meeting and (without sounding lame) I’ve made some super new theatre buddies who I hang out with a lot… often (surprisingly) at the theatre! Miss Felgate herself lives mere minutes away from me, so we regularly have Sunday sessions (last time with yummy sloe gin).
Anyway, I digress. So after a hectic couple of weeks at work, I was ready to let my hair down, chat about theatre and drink some wine. The lovely Esther from Planet Hollywood had pulled some strings and we had the Pool Room upstairs. With this in mind Rebecca had opted for a summery theme, which is quite funny considering it had actually snowed that morning!

I donned a summer dress (complete with the British staple of black tights) and heels and joined the throngs of bloggers milling around with our leis. There was even a blow-up flamingo and all sorts of little touches.
And wine. Lots of wine. Not to mention the food. Another bad day for my diet…

My fellow BB Ed from the Gizzle Review and the lovely CherAnn won some awesome summery treats for having significantly improved their web traffic. At the end of the event I helpfully collected Ed’s prize as he’d left it behind… but actually he hadn’t left so… I carried a pineapple!
Sadly my dear friend West End Wilma couldn’t make the event so it was up to me to promote her new #stagey tote bags and I even gave a few away to some lucky bloggers!
There was also a Twitter competition going on and I totally won a cocktail for my (albeit cheesy) #stagey tweet.
Once again a super fun event with lots of schmoozing, so thanks to the beautiful Miss F from Official Theatre and the guys at Seat Plan and Planet Hollywood for organisation et al.
